They attend the lecture and fall in love over coffee at the bakery. Say anything, he tells her helplessly. Black is the new red, she replies

He says, Let’s go for Korean and she says, I had a bad experience once, and they stay in and fall out of love and decide that destiny stinks

He flew in from Korea and they kissed and she said, Did you eat a burrito? and he said, In Korea? and they laughed their sophisticated laugh

There were not enough mangoes in the smoothie and this problem reverberated to the point of a messy divorce. Luckily they didn’t have kids.

And then they had their existential crisis. She was questioning his very sense of himself. Because she hated leftover Chinese for breakfast.

She tells him not to touch it. And he does. And sprays invective at him like a frightened skunk. And he sighs. But the souffle remains sunk.
