I’m a big fan of the Literary Death Match, a crazy kind of Gong Show meets literary reading night that works for some reason. They take place almost weekly all over the world and if one comes to your town, you should go. I was a judge at the first Montreal event (pix here) and had a grand old time. I’m in London next week for work and, lo and behold, Literary Death Match hits London. And the tireless Todd Zuniga asked me to judge when a (much!) higher profile judge bowed out at the last minute. Despite the disappointment my appearance is bound to create, I agreed. If you’re in London on August 17, drop by.
