I was born in Montreal a long time ago. Some days, that time feels longer than other days. My parents were recently arrived immigrants from India. My mother danced. My father was an engineer.
I grew up in the western part of Montreal, mostly around a suburb called Cote St. Luc. I’m not going to post any photos of my childhood here. Ever.
I’m a writer. I also edit magazines. I’ve written a book of short stories, have a novel on the go (and looking for a publisher) and do this strange thing on Twitter.
I have a lovely wife who makes incredible ceramics and we have a great son. I still live in Montreal because I think it’s kind of awesome.
